In some of today’s larger vehicles, such dangerous blind spots can extend as much as 50 feet from the rear of the vehicle – that’s 50 feet in which low objects, structures and, tragically, even children can be perilously hidden from view. Audiovox is leading the way with affordable, high-performance, easy-to-use Collision Avoidance Systems that bring this blind spot well into view.
Quality that improves safety, of course, is our primary concern, and developing best-in-class technology is what Audiovox is all about. Take our rear observation cameras, boasting 130° to 110°camera angles to ensure ample wide-angle rear viewing. Camera housings are made of high grade and weather-resistant metal. Our generously sized LCD monitors range from 2.5” to 4.2” and display full color images in vivid high resolution, all with outstanding contrast and clarity for ensuring confident daytime and nighttime viewing. Our highly sensitive backup sensors provide warnings at up to 6-foot range, and they send feedback to monitors for displaying digital information on obstruction distances to the vehicle.
